  1. Hi, Angel! Thank you for sharing your encouragement and challenge! I’m also thankful that Jesus work is, in a very real sense, finished. For me, it takes time for these kinds of truths to sink in. Well, time…as in it’s a lifelong project. 🙂 Keep up the writing! I’d love to hear more about what the ideas you presented in this post look like on a concrete, practical, day-to-day level for you!

  2. I really enjoyed reading this article Angel. My three favorite words that I get excited over in the Bible, is when I see “But”, “Then”, and “If”. They always have power, promises, lessons, or warnings to follow. Keeps me on my toes. Just like Romans 12:2(which is my favorite Scripture, by the way, lol). Thanks for sharing this post. It is very encouraging and up lifting. I’ll make sure to share it!

  3. Jesus was placed in a dark tomb and three days later He arose and stepped out into the light. That’s what is key in our battles also. The enemy wants to keep us in the dark and like Jesus, when we allow Him to He will bring what is hidden in the dark of our souls out into the light. It’s called healing.

  4. GREAT lesson Angel! No, I guess I never thought about what my 3 – favorite- words would be. Something to consider. But you have chosen 3 that matter the most! No matter the topic, these words cover them all.

    Thanks.

  5. Thank you Angel for this. Yes, I have to remind myself often that Satan is the author of lies, as well as anxiety, doubt, fear…Oh thank Jesus that God is all sovereign! I am so thankful that when I keep my eyes on Jesus he gives me a peace that surpasses all understanding! 🙂 I love how we are reminded that we will have troubles in this world but HE has overcome the world!

    1. Victory is ours — regardless of good days or bad days, how we feel or what the enemy throws at us. Victory belongs to us! As believers, we must continue to embrace it and walk in it! Bless you sister!

  6. This is great! I love those three words too… because he finished it for me, and you.

“The moment we receive Christ, we step into a lifetime journey – a journey where we are continually challenged by the things of the world” I especially like that you point out the journey begins, but there will be challenges while we are on this earth.

    1. Amen Tatiana! I think all of us have had our share of trying to fix things…We just have to rest and trust in our Heavenly Father! Bless you sister.

  7. These 3 words – what a tremendous blessing! There’s so much freedom, but at the same time, I can’t begin to imagine that kind of love. I was wondering if these 3 words were the ones you were writing about! 🙂 Thank you! Stopping by from the Salt & Light linkup

    1. Hey Rebekah! The 3 words – IT IS FINISHED – were the ones I was writing about! When Jesus spoke these words, it changed the trajectory for all humankind. Just thinking about His sacrifice overwhelms me! Thank you so much for the link up opportunity!

  8. Oh my word, I love this: “the only avenue to freedom is through the crucified life!” YES. Thank you for this truth today: IT IS FINISHED. I’m not my past; I’m a daughter of grace who can walk in the crucified life and the freedom that comes with it.

  9. Yesss! Amen! It is Finished! These three words are special to me too! These are the words that ended a 3 month long battle with debilitating headaches that were so bad I was throwing up constantly. I was going through a season of completely trusting the God, no pills, no doctors, just a prescription of speaking the healing word and promises of God through it! When I was finally healed I heard in my spirit IT IS FINISHED! I’ve never experienced those headaches again!! God is our healer! It is finished! Thank you for sharing this Angel!

    1. GLORY!!! What a testimony Forest! Praise God for the healing that you took place for you! And as you said, those three words have taken on an even more special meaning now. I’m so glad that you shared this with all of us.

  10. I love your blog! And this. Thanks for sharing it! So many wonderful writers out there… looking forward to reading more of your words.
